Instant Pot Baked Beans
These baked beans are sure to be a hit at all of your summer BBQ parties! This recipe is enough to feed a large crowd, and is perfect for preparing meals ahead of time and freezing in individual containers!
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs dry great northern white beans
- 7 cups of water
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 can tomato sauce - 15oz
- 1/2 cup prepared mustard
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- S&P to taste
- Dash of paprika
- Liquid smoke- 4-5 drops
Instructions:
- Cook dry beans with water in pressure cooker for 40 minutes on HIGH pressure.
- While beans cook, mix together remaining ingredients, except liquid smoke.
- After timer is done on instant pot, let steam release naturally for 10 minutes then slowly release.
- Use the sauté feature on your instant pot and stir in the wet mixture with your beans for about 5 minutes. Then add liquid smoke and stir.
- Serve hot.
